1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup molasses or dark corn syrup
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 tsp baking soda
Tubes of red, green and white frosting
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl till light and fluffy. Beat in molasses, egg, and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and add to butter mixture till well blended. Chill for 1 hour.Roll dough into a 12x15 inch oblong on a lightly floured surface. Cut into twelve 3x5 inch oblongs. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or till firm to the touch. Cool on cookie sheet.
